Since launching on St David’s Day 2001, Wales Air Ambulance has grown from a single aircraft into a 24/7, all-Wales service, delivering advanced critical care to critically ill and injured patients wherever it is needed most.

Today, the Charity operates four helicopters and a fleet of rapid response vehicles, bringing hospital-level treatment directly to the scene. Since its inception, the service has attended nearly 60,000 missions across Wales.

Funded entirely by public donations, Wales Air Ambulance must raise £13 million every year to keep its aircraft in the air and rapid response vehicles on the road. Its Lifesaving Lottery provides vital regular income, alongside the dedication of fundraisers, volunteers and supporters across the country.

Every lottery play helps Wales Air Ambulance continue delivering lifesaving care when every second counts.
