Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance was launched in May 2013 and since then has carried out over 1500 time critical emergencies. From their base at Perth Airport, the charity can reach 90% of the population within 25 minutes and has subsequently carried out missions in the north, south, east and west of Scotland.
The charity is 100% reliant on donations and Tower Lotteries are honoured to have ran the SCAA lottery since it began with the inception of the charity. Through the hard work and dedication of lottery canvassers in the country, membership levels have gone from strength to strength. As a result of this, income from the lottery now forms a significant part of the charities fundraising and is vital for ensuring that the service can continue to be of benefit to the people of Scotland.
