10 long-standing fundraisers for Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance got the chance to visit the airbase in Perth recently and meet the pilots and paramedics that fly on the helicopter.
As the charity celebrates its 5th birthday, Chief Executive David Craig and Head of Fundraising Nick Harvey took the opportunity to speak to all the fundraisers and give them an update about the impending second helicopter that was recently announced. It is an exciting time for the charity and further developments on this front are expected in 2019.
Whilst meeting the charities staff, the fundraisers were given an update on income from the lottery and dealing with vulnerable people as well as CPR training should a medical emergency arise.
Tower Lotteries are delighted to run and administer the SCAA lottery, which is the fastest growing weekly draw anywhere in the country.
