Long-standing fundraiser Michael Budd has been named Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Canvasser of the Year for the second year running. Michael, who has represented the charity since 2012, won the prize at the recent training day held by the charity and received gift vouchers and a trophy in recognition of the achievement.
The award was based on the number of sign-ups done over the past 12 months, the quality of data captured, the attrition rates of members recruited, and feedback given to the charity. Michael faced tough competition from several other fundraisers representing the charity but fought them all off, including his partner in crime Stuart Voice, to scoop the prize.
It caps off a great month for Michael as he recently got married.
