Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance and Tower Lotteries are delighted to announce a new three-year partnership to manage the charities lottery.
Launched in 2013, Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance are based at Perth Airport but can reach 90% of the population within 25 minutes. The charity relies 100% on funding from the public and income from their highly successful lottery is essential to enable the service to function and prosper in the future. Membership levels have gone from strength to strength since the draw was launched and this extension to the existing agreement will allow fundraisers in Scotland to continue this upward surge.
Speaking on behalf of SCAA, Chief Executive David Craig said “Income from our lifesaving lottery is essential to the charity and I’d like to thank the people of Scotland that are already members. Thanks to the fundraisers working on our behalf, we now have a record numbers of players and the revenue we receive has continued to grow and grow. We need to raise around £2.5m every year and the charity is very much looking forward to building on this success over the next 3 years which will enable us to continue to save and improves lives in Scotland.”
