Tower Lotteries are pleased to announce that fundraiser Darren Green is our Canvasser of the Month and in the process, he becomes the first person to win the award for a second time.
Darren has worked under the banner of Tower Lotteries since October 2016 and he represents London’s Air Ambulance and East Anglian Air Ambulance. Both fantastic charities are heavily reliant on the income from the lottery, and in the 2 and ½ years he has fundraised for them, he has recruited a phenomenal number of new members. Many of these members continue to support their local air ambulance to this day, meaning the financial benefits have a direct impact on the work the charity can do when people need their help.
Due to Darren’s prolific ability to recruit new members, he is amongst the most secret-shopped fundraiser on our books. The feedback on these secret-shops has been amongst the best we’ve had, which is credit to Darren and the way he represents himself and the charities he represents. As well as the fantastic numbers, Darren is amongst the best fundraisers at capturing e-mail addresses and mobile telephone numbers. These help hugely with attrition rates, as they reinforce what people have agreed to pay and that indeed Darren is a genuine fundraiser.
Darren recently celebrated his impending wedding with a weekend away in Manchester, so we suspect the soon to be Mrs Green may have a say in what prize he opts for as a result of being named Canvasser of the Month!
